Two More HST Donation Quilt
3 Attachment(s)
Second quilt still has to be quilted. I still have lots of this fabric left to make smaller HST donation quilts. I am having so much fun with all the designs. The train track one is a panel that I quilted up for donation and hope to find a plastic train to fit the tracks.

In case you don't find a little train for your quilt, remember to look at Christmas ornaments. I have a darling train ornament that I purchased years ago. It lights up and even has sound. It goes chug, chug, woo woo, and clang clang! Its my favorite ornament. Its plastic and I don't remember where I purchased it. All it says on the bottom is RHO made in China. But There are always lots of trains at Christmas! Love your quilts.

Very cool! I like both of the HST quilts--sure are fun, aren't they? And some little guy is going to love playing with his train track quilt.
|
They are all terrific! Those scrap quilts are simply beautiful!
|
Good quilts. I also like to make oversized HST blocks for this purpose, often cut from 9.5 or 10" squares.
|
All are super. zozee is right someone is going to really love this quilt. BrendaK

Love them all.The half square triangle settings are really pretty and lots of bright colours.

Lovely work. I found a plastic train at the Dollar Tree last Christmas. It's wind up and comes with a circular track. Might not be what you're looking for, but a place to check.
|
Great quilts!

Thomas the Tank Engine is wooden and would be the right size, I thnk.

Good job! I especially like the first one.

My Walmart had some Thomas trains on clearance. I am always picking up stuff to go with the Busy bags I make for Sadie's Dream for a Cure. Your quilts will make some child happy.

Those are so nice. It is wonderful to do for others.

Thomas trains are everywhere -- and in different sizes.

LOVE both of your HST quilts, very pretty and will be most welcome by the lucky ones to get them.
