Two More Rescued Vintage Quilt tops
4 Attachment(s)
I do not know exactly where I bought these tops, but I do know they were very dirty with no borders etc. I have learned to wash them carefully and to match the borders with the designs. I wish I could have afforded handquilting, but alas, they were longarmed by a lovely 85 year old woman Marie. They are full size quilts but look lovely on my queen size bed, the colors are just georgous. I have entered these in quilt shows because they need to be looked at and shown, people need to see this beautiful work from the 1930's. They are absolutely perfect quilts and I have no idea who pieced them, isn't that sad ? I hope you enjoy seeing them and that guy peeking out is my only surviving brother Norman.
