Love BOTH of these. How pretty!

Harmony 03-17-2011 10:45 AM

I'm in the same boat with you! I have so many tops stacked up waiting for quilting. I'm trying really hard not to start anything new until I get them all done, but that could be years, and I hear some new projects calling my name......

spartan quilter 03-17-2011 12:07 PM

I love both quilts, and was really excited to see the second quilt. According to my patterns, the name of it is "Mr Roosevelt's Necktie" and is the pattern that I picked out, for my 13 year old DGD to make this spring. Always good to see a finished quilt of a pattern that I want to do.

Keep the pictures coming of the finished UFO's. Always good to have them done.

MissBarbQuilts 03-17-2011 01:32 PM

The first one is my favorite. It looks so happy!

fred singer 03-17-2011 01:49 PM

Love them both nice job

decky 03-17-2011 03:44 PM

Very pretty quilts. I have decided that I'm NOT going to start any new quilts until I have my UFOs done, which will probably take me until June to finish all of them.

thebossbab 03-17-2011 03:55 PM

Your quilts are both very pretty! Great job and thanks for sharing. Good luck getting the others done also.

krabadan 03-17-2011 04:39 PM

They are both beautiful. Great job.

Bobbielinks 03-17-2011 04:42 PM

Very, very pretty!

Mary M 03-17-2011 06:42 PM

Hi Diane, I don't know the name of the pattern offhand. I made most of my quilts from magazine patterns and done them last year. If I run across he pattern I would be happy to let you know. Mary

So happy you are finishing them :-D

Grandma Peg 03-17-2011 06:59 PM

Very nice, especially when you can cross off 2 UFO's.

They are both beautiful quilts - keep going and before you know it, you'll have all your UFO's completed.

Stacey 03-17-2011 07:22 PM

Love to see those UFO's get finished. Yours are beautiful.

debcavan 03-17-2011 07:30 PM

They are both gorgeous. I love your colors. And you are able to do vastly different colors beautifully.

RobertaMarie 03-17-2011 07:49 PM

Applause! Keep up the good work. I only hope to follow your example. Great quilts!!!

Dotsie 03-17-2011 10:17 PM

Both are gorgeous. What magazine? Will have to try searching it out at the public library. Those colors are awesome together.

Mary M 03-18-2011 07:45 AM

I wish I could tell you, off hand, what magazine it was but since I pieced the tops last year I have forgotten. I have at least 6 different titles of quilt magazines and probably a total of over a hundred....yes, I collected quilt mgazines for awhile and need to part with some of them. If I run across the patterns I sure will let you know. I often sit in my favorite chair in the evenings when I am too tired to sew, and go through them looking at the quilt patterns.

Those are both really beautiful. I especially like the colored stars.

AVQuilter 03-18-2011 08:43 AM

You are on a mission...lovely quilts but I am a sucker for stars!!

Iamquilter 03-18-2011 09:39 AM

Beautiful quilts.

franie 03-18-2011 09:41 AM

Both are beautiful! I know all about those UFOs! I have many around in different stages.

Nettie Phillips 03-18-2011 04:32 PM

Both are so pretty. I started one like the second one and decided
I needed more floral fabric to make it big enough for a bed and of
course I haven't been able to find any more so I put it on the back
burner. I love that pattern. You done good work.

Kellie G 03-18-2011 07:04 PM

Both quilts are beautiful...I absolutely adore the colors in number 2.

CIGAINEROJD 03-18-2011 07:41 PM

I love the top star quilt and would take it off your hands if you have tooo many UFO's. LOL

Szymanski 03-20-2011 10:04 AM

They are both beautiful.

I like your color choices.

jojosnana 03-20-2011 10:18 AM

Gosh they are wonderful...I am cleaning out my quilting room/office and came across way too many UFOs....I am trying to get to the bottom of the pile too. Good luck with yours.....me, I think I am hopeless. I want to start on my crazy quilt of my dreams but I am afraid it will take years....one block at a time.....

borntoquilt 03-20-2011 12:36 PM

Put on your "thinking caps" ladies and gents and see if someone can come up with some NAMES for these patterns ! I, like several others here, am interested in the second quilt. (need to make king size-looks fast!) Absolutely beautiful and think of how NICE they will look quilted!

biscuitqueen 03-20-2011 04:59 PM
