These are two of my recently finished quilts.
The green frogs went to Australia for a friend's first grandchild.
The lilacs went to Rhode Island for a disabled friend there.
Have had problems with my digital camera, and these are not the best pics possible.

Both are great, but the lilacs one is stunning! Especially like the placement of the black triangles that makes the center really pop.

I have dabbled in quilting from time to time, and used to do small hand pieced and hand quilted pieces. I am an artist with paints and canvas, and just now getting into attempts at actual baby or wall sized quilts. I am learning as I go, and have to keep it small enogh I can quilt in the ditch on my sewing machine.
I was reluctant to post pictures, as I have seen SO many gorgeous intricate quilts that are WAY out of my league, and felt rather inadequate.
So, you have all boosted my confidence and I thank you.

Oh, please don't hesitate to post pics as we are all at different skill levels here and we enjoy seeing newbie's works just as much as the most skilled quilter's works! Your work is fabulous and I can see you are an artist; it shows in your work. Give it some time and with experience with each project and you'll be tops here before long! Very nice quilts. I'm sure the ones who receive them are going to love them. Remember we are all beginners at one time. I will never know it all so I'm always learning as I go!
