Here is the quilt I call "Leaving California" because I started it in California, and finished it here in my new home state, Florida. It is from McCalls Quilting magazine (cover photo) I think it was October 2001's issue.
The other quilt is a quick 9 patch I made from my purple stash and a gorgeous hydrangea print from the Old Paris line that was out in 2004. Enjoy. |
really nice I love the flower prints remind me of a lilac print I had. I always had an urge to smell it. I'm not a purple person but I love yours. Your really good

BEAUTIFUL................
|
I agree with Ruth, it does remind me of lilacs. And the pattern is simple, but very effective! I sometimes get carried away with too many pieces and lose the thought. To use one of the new adjectives, it is geeeeorgeeeeous. (I think I got enough es in).

Those are really nice. You do good work. I like the one with the leafs. The purple one is also nice. I like the idea that is is so simple but your choice of fabric really makes it.
|
Well, I have to agree. YOu do BEAUTIFUL work! I love them both, but the purple one is my favorite of the two. :D I guess it's because it's spring time. :D
;) |
Those are both very pretty. You did an excellent job. My favorite is the leaf quilt. I love Fall...especially Fall colors and this is beautiful...they both are.

Ooooh!
First, glad to see some of your work, and second, I love them. Like Heather, (live2teach) I love autumn, but I also love the to me, relaxing coziness of the purple. |
The colors you used in both quilts are extremely remarkable! They are both beautiminous! (new word for that other topic!) LOL
|
