Two quilts from Josie for the vets

2 Attachment(s)
After seeing my post about making a quilt for a new facility for low income to homeless vets, Josie Bass messaged me that she had a couple tops she would send. So I got them ready with backing and batting and another member of our guild quilted them. So now we have 50 quilts for the Manor as they are almost full and the new arrivals will receive a quilt when they come. Thanks Josie for the beautiful tops and your generosity. Aren't quilters the best?

What beautiful quilts. Job well done Josie. Good Luck with the opening of this much needed housing for our veterans. We who live in the US should be supportive of our veterans who have sacrificed so much so we can enjoy our freedom.

Beautiful quilts and worthy recipients.

Thank you so much for your comments. I saw Peg's quilts she posted, she said she had to have 50 quilts for the new center for vets, so I thought I would help. My Father was killed in WW-2 so I have a special place in my heart for VETS. Thanks again to everyone and the Lady that quilted them.

Josie does such beautiful work. And, her generosity overwhelms me. Great job on these two. I know they will be appreciated!

Those are beautiful quilt tops, Peg. And yes, you are so right my friend, one lit candle can make a huge difference.

How sweet. Josie you did a beautiful job!

Is this the replacement for the Home for Vets at King, Wisconsin? We had been sending things there, but were told to stop because they had closed and moved to a much smaller place which had no room to store extras.

What a wonderful group effort to achieve a goal for our veterans. Thanks Peg, Josie and the guild for your combined efforts. The quilts are wonderful.

The quilts are beautiful and I thank you for your generous donations of quilts for the homeless veterans. It's a shame that men and women who served their country with honor are in this position, but I'm glad there are organizations like yours to help them out.

Those are great and will be appreciated....
