Would love a TIPS or tute to show us how we could speed up the process. I know it isn't about speed but quality - I would like to see both of your expertise areas. Why does it take me forever and a day!

I am amazed.

You are one busy lady!!! Your quilts are beautiful I enjoy seeing your quilting. It is very inspirational. When I earn my big girl panties on the longarm I aspire to be as good as you:-)

They are both beautiful, but I really love the last quilt with the fall colors, very nice. Did you get any sleep in those three days? Just curious.

Very nice! Obviously you are not a beginner!

LOL - I've only been quilting for two years!

And to answer several of the other questions and comments ---

Yes, I did sleep, full night's sleep each night.

In my spare time --- I work a regular part time job at Walmart - fabric dept. I also design quilts, and work on customer quilts doing the longarm work for them!

The trick to getting so much done so fast? While the one is in the longarm being quilting via computer system, work on the next one.

Also have a husband that helps with cooking, laundry, and totally supports my quilting passion. In fact the reason I've been quilting so hard for the last three weeks (see my other fall quilt projects I've gotten done) is because he had the contact that wants to carry my work!

Oh, and I have a lap quilt loaded in the longarm to get done before our trip to Chicago! Plus want to make some pot holders or mug rugs. BUT I have a birthday part to attend and three days of working at my regular job! Maybe I'll try the not sleeping method! NOT. I need my sleep. Speaking of which ---- nite all!

I think twice before doing consignment. Sorry to be negative, but this does happen in the real world.

I totally agree with you. I have done several items just to get them in the store, but know that I may not sell them all. I also have some of the earlier quilts posted on my web site for sale. I will not go over board and with what I have made, plus a few smaller items I am not making anymore until some sell.
If it just get's my name/company out there and brings in the business it will be worth it.
Thank you for your input, I appreciate you looking out for me. Sometimes we need others looking out for us. Then we need to listen! ;)

Both are gorgeous - first is my favorite! Is that your pattern?

The color combinations in your quilts are so pretty and so interesting. They are beautiful. Get some rest...after all that push to get things done, I am sure you need to coast for a while. I'll bet your other items are lovely also.
