UFO One Block Wonder
1 Attachment(s)
Got another UFO done after 3 years in holding. Got it quilted just before my Long arm went on the blink last week. Got the binding sewed on and worked on the binding today since I was nailed to the chair from knee surgery.
It seems I get the tops pieced but I have a hard time getting the quilting done and the binding. So the UFO challenge has been great for me. |
Great mix of patterns. Can you post the original fabric so we can see what you started with?

Bet you now wish you hadn't waited so long to finish this up. I particularly like how you used the coordinating stripe in the border and binding. Nice touch! |

Lovely! OBW's are so much fun, but they're addictive.
|
Well I do admire. What type of pattern is this? Grace
|
it's a beautiful quilt!! congrats on finishing another ufo.
|
That's a great thing for passing the time when you are stuck sitting down. It's looks lovely. I've got three tops I've been meaning to quilt for years but have put off because they are kings so next guild meeting, I'm taking one to talk to our resident longarmer. Since I have no emotional connection to any of these, I just want them finished so I can finally put them to use and same my creative energies for the ones that I feel a real connection to.

What a beautiful OBW!!! I, too, would like to see the original fabric (if you still have a piece... LOL! I always use mine all up & then have none to show). I'm sorry to hear about your owwie knee. I can identify... they thought about replacing mine but there wasn't enough bone left to attach to so I just get to limp... LOL! Oh well.. at least it still can push the pedal on my Featherweight! That's all that matters, right?

I love the way you laid out your blocks. Great colors and your border complements your blocks wonderfully. Thanks for sharing.
|
Beautiful. That small striped border and binding are great with it.
|
Great job!
