Well, beautiful to me at least.

We had this really ugly backrest pillow from what I'm suspecting was the the 1970's. It was brown, yellow and green. It was gross. So I found a pattern from McCalls (McCalls 2450) and made the pattern for the pillow. I believe that I did a pretty good job making the cover to go over this hideous pillow. I can't wait to get it to my new dorm room and hope that people ask me about it...

The colors of the new cover are different shades of blue... and more appealing than the first one. I love it!

Awesome pillow/backrest! I really like how you added a handy dandy handle for moving it !

Yes do remember the 70's avacado green ! LOL The blues are much better; makes us feel so good to redo something. My grandmother still doesn't understand me cutting up good fabric then sewing it together again -- he humor. She gives me old shirts to cut up after she has taken the buttons off. I told her I didn't have time to do that.

Thank you!!! I figured that since it was still pretty fluffy and practically brand new, that it was still usable... just needed the make over!

Thank you so much!
