That's a beautiful quilt. Why would anyone think it is ugly. Colors go well with that poka dot fabric.

I think it was just the colors seemed a little harsh for my taste. I think the pattern would have been great with a different choice of colors. She loved it and that is what counts. Right?

You know, I have never seen an "ugly" quilt nor an "ugly baby"...some are prettier than others, no doubt, but none are "ugly", especially in the case of a quilt, when it is a gift and someone put their hard work, blood, sweat and tears into it....in the case of the baby....the blood, sweat and tears are yet to come but worth every moment.

It seems the once accused "ugly" duckling has been transformed into a beautiful swan. Great job. And it IS very pretty.
