Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. How true. You did a good job on this and I think it's great that you niece loves it enough to post on face book. BrendaK

I think it's U-nique not U-gly! You never know what some one else's tastes are until you work with them. I believe it turned out great and as long as she's happy isn't that what matters.

Not ugly at all. Maybe out of your comfort perspective but very interesting. If the recipient loves it, it is a real winner. The goal in making quilts for others is to please them and it looks like you have a perfect score on this one.

Nicely done on both!

The more I see it, the more I like it! You did a great job on it and I am so glad your niece likes it.

yes sir it is ugly, but learn and keep right on quilting. That first quilt was pretty.

I don't think it's ugly at all, very pretty, and a definitely unique pattern.

Wow...I've never seen one like this but I'm very impressed with it! Love the colors used in this beautiful quilt!

That is reward in itself! Isn't it great to have such an appreciative recipient? Feels great! Congratulations on finishing one that wasn't in your comfort zone at all!

I said before and I will say again I don't think there is an ugly quilt it is just a different interpretation of fabric. I like yours a lot.
