So cute! I love it, Kelly. Although I am not into miniature dolls, this looks sooo cute! Surely, Uncle John loves it, too.
How darling!!!!!!!!!!! :D
WOW! It looks great! I thought with all those seams in that quilt that it would never lay nicely on a bed...thought it would be too stiff. I'm amazed. Your tiny tiny work is just beautiful.
That is so cute!
Totally awesome!!!!
I love it! I love the idea of anything miniature!
I love this quilt! I really like the 4.5 inch Kelly doll. I should make some quilts for it!

Wow!

Thanks everyone.
Well the seam question is a good one. For the border it is the traditional 1/4" seams, but with the rest because of how it is pieced, there really isn't a "standard" seam size. This particular piece was done by Paper Piecing, but I have one I'm working on now that is traditionally pieced. |
Hey Kelly, how do you make these? I would like directions, if you don't mind sharing them, please. turtlerouge
Very well done, my friend! I'm sure your uncle is in awe as we are. GOOD JOB!!!!!!! |
That is simply awesome. I really admire your talent. I would like directions also
Awesome job Kelly! Glad he likes it!

Turtle and Twinkie
It's just simply paper pieced. You reduce the size of a paper piecing pattern you like and just make it as you would any quilt! No secret or special skills. Anyone can do it! |
Oh, Kelly, it's so nice to see the quilt in place! It looks wonderful. He must have been so pleased and touched by your thoughtfulness. Lovely!
That is just amazing and looks great on the little bed.
oooo.... I could do a mini of my very first sampler quilt... I might actually get that one quilted ha ha

Love it, Kelly! :) I still think you're nuts, though! :D

Your quilt is amazing. I saw my first miniature quilts at Paducha last week. They are such special little quilts I don't know how you can keep track of all the tiny pieces.
