I love the ribbon meander. It has more appeal to me than regular meander. If I quilt myself into a corner I can just backtrack, then start again in a blank space. Yours looks great.

I think the issue with the twin needle may be with the back. Single needle/double pass allows you to exaggerate the curves.

Cool idea. What is commercial quilting? the ribbons are so cool. I haven't gotten into FMQing, but I hope to this year. it will have to be on small things first. No way am I going to do it on a big quilt.
