Tri-Chem was really big in the 70's. I was a "victim". The can they were stored in is now my waste basket in my sewing room. Your quilt is lovely.

The lady who made the blocks died at age 98 several years ago. I read that the paints were invented in the 40s. The design for the butterflies is old...haven't seen anything like it. None of my kids want this quilt; I wonder if I should have a quilt museum look at it?

Can't think of a better way to honor someones work of so many years ago...in another's hands they may not have survived..too often we overlook our real history for what's in the news...Good job on the quilt and preserving history.
