Unique Trip Around the World
 

I just finished custom quilting this Trip Around the World for a client. I did feathers and curls, I sure hope she likes it. I used three different thread colors. The pictures do not do this quilt justice, her color combinations are incredible. She puts fabrics together that I would never think of doing or am to afraid to try. This is the second quilt I have done since the new year, I have done quite a few others before Christmas but haven't had time to post pictures, so I am posting favorites right now. Thanks for looking.

Reminds me of a black opal. Beautiful colors and the way they blend into one another. Your quilting is teriffic with it.

I quite agree with you in that I too would be afraid to try to put those fabrics together but they totally work. Amazing top and your quilting compliments it. It is not easy when the fabrics are so bold but you brought just the right amount of texture to an already jamming party.

Stunning job, thanks for sharing it. Scrappy quilts look SO much better when the quilting and patchwork compliment each other...that all over stuff...not for me.

My machine is still in the shop by the way so no progress on the borders. But I'm still excited!

dI would certainly be pleased with it and imagine she will be as well. Just gorgeous.
