I was thinking that along the same lines. the top seems very blue and the bottom looks very green. I would maybe move the bottom middle block somewhere closer to the top. But that is just me.

That's beautiful. Looks good to me. I've made a couple of these quilts now and know that you can play with the layout forever and still find something to change.

I always lay my blocks out on the board and then back away and do the "squint test" where you close your eyes almost all the way which magically allows you to see your variations of dark/light. When I do that with yours I see a defined line of dark in column #1 and also in column #5. So for me, I would try to break up that color definition a little bit. You did a great job on the curves by the way !!!

I think it looks great. I see planets in another solar system. Kind of a Star Trek type think. Dating myself?

Thank you all. Did the squint and see what you are saying. Moved a few blocks and I think it is better. Now time to sew them all together. I can't wait to start on the "real" one, using oriental fabrics for that one. I did this one to learn how to sew the curves. I think I have the hang of it now.

I agree.

I love that you just took the ball and ran with it. This really does look great to me. And I love your color choices. Can't wait to see this all quilted. And yes I am looking forward to the one with the oriental fabric.

I love it! I love the colors and the way it is arranged! I'm going to have to do something like this.
