Your daughter saved those delightful ol' stars (?) and you gave them life! What a great story! Good JOB and pretty quilt!!
Thanks, Highmtn~ She found them in an antiques shop and thought they might work. Most of them were pretty wonky as if done by a child or someone inexperienced. I chose the best of them; some looked like feed sack, old shirts, etc. Actually, I love the old quilts and have a nice collection; have "renewed" some of them for using as I don't care whether they have monetary value or not. I think about the persons who did them but, sadly, only one has a "label." I'll post more as I take pix..I figure the more I work with posting pix, the better I'll get (hopefully).
