Used up the left-over dresden plate blades...

After completing the table runner made out of a charm pack that I posted a few weeks ago, I had enough blades leftover to make this second project...it has insul-brite and batting in it, so it can be used as a table runner, hotpad, or candle-mat. The fabric is from the Crazy 8 line by Sandy Gervais. My sister is getting it for Christmas!

That is really nice - what a great gift - love the fabric.

How clever ! Love the fabrics :)

Hi...I like the mat. I never would have thought to use the plate for anything other than a quilt. I do enjoy making the plates and next year will make a table runner and some hot pads for my kitchen.
