I just hope you don’t get tired of looking at my bags 😃 Some are for the women’s shelter which are sewn by the ladies from our church Bible study group who once a month turn into the Crafty Ladies sewing for charity !!! As you can see that “spin me around” block I had posted previously, turned into a bag too and this one with a decorative side button on the gusset.
I’ve also done a couple of sample scrunches which I thought could go into the bags for the women’s shelter as well as tissue pouches like my trial. I will put my granddaughter on the job for those during her stay with me in the coming school holidays 😊
Thanks for looking and you all have a lovely weekend ♥️♥️♥️

Nice bags.
Did you put the button on instead of having to "box" the corners?

All very lovely! I haven't seen a tissue pouch like that. I really like it.

Love them all. Can you please point us in the direction of the tissue pouch pattern?

Search “tissue pouch” on Pinterest, there are quite a few different ones 😃

I did box the corners but instead of doing inside and cutting the point off I made it outside and put a button to hold the corner up 😉

Great bags, scrunches and tissue holder! I am sure they will be appreciated.

Love the bags.Being a dog person you can guess which one I liked best. Maybe I missed it and if so I apologize but what pattern did you use for the bag?

Mariposa 09-07-2019 07:07 AM

Terrific bags! The scrunchies are a fun idea too. :)

Such an excellent gift for a shelter. Those are so clever. Thanks for the inspiration.

Pinterest has got a few as well as “Quilterscache” called Scottie Dog. As I cut my fabric for the bags (backing and lining) 20 x 17” I have to adjust/add to the front block, so instead of making the dog with 2,5” squares I made him with 3” to get him large enough to suit the bag, he might have looked lost with smaller squares 😉
