This is the on going tale of Scrapocolypse. The beinning: How I am using up 20 years of scraps.:D
http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...s-t286144.html Just finished this top and wanted to show all the different kinds of fabric that I am not being afraid to use together. I used all styles of fabric, from civil war repros to funky batiks and cabbage roses. I like the way it finished. Very good use of scraps! Keep going - you have a great variety of scrappy quilts!

I love this, beautiful work.

I like the way you've done some color grouping. It gives it a bit of a watercolor effect. Normally the braid is not my favorite pattern but I love this one.

You are doing a great job using up scraps. This one is very pretty.

I think you have made lemons into lemonade. I hope I can just use mine up in such a way that it comes out beautiful like you have. I think the problem with me is I am a fabric control freak. I am inspired. Thank you.

Love, love it...that constant square fabric adds cohesiveness and the narrow vertical strip definition...great color placement throughout...Now about that Lego quilt...I'll wait patiently.. :-)
