Using up those scraps
 

One again Doris has brought me a beautiful top made from scraps to be quilted however I want. Hobbs 80/20 batting is used. Rotating the direction of the feathers and some straight line ruler work on the strips that will go across the bed ready set off this quilt.

The quilt is beautiful! I love simple and elegant, and this quilt is both!

This could have been a boring quilt, but was very well thought out, even before your elegant quilting took it up a level.

I agree with Daisy, definitely a library with shelves of books; the feather quilting really sets it off and breaks up the bright scrappy colours perfectly.

Chinese coins would normally not be a pattern I would be interested in making but your way of quilting this quilt makes me want to piece a Chinese coins quilt. It looks awesome!
