Oh we can tell a lot of work went into this quilt. Colors are lovely! You should be proud of your accomplishment.

Am going to a guild sponsored retreat in a month and the project is SAS.....using John Flynn templates........what pattern/method/templates did you use? I'm thinking of two colors, but your blending colors is beautiful....what size is your block?

http://quiltsbywendy.com/ I just tried this link and it takes you to Wendy Mathson's web page, where this pattern is still front and center. I used Marti Mitchell's templates instead of her cutting instructions and used the largest diamond, which makes 12" blocks.

I've always loved the colors. The challenge was that not only did I have 5 different colors, but 5 different white background fabrics. Counting and cutting the correct number of pieces got to be a real challenge, especially as I bought "JUST" enough fabric for each color. I don't have much of any of the solids left to put on the back. I could not have done this without a design wall.

I am overwhelmed by the compliments and the support I've received on this quilt's journey. Thank you all so much!
