That is just so cute!!!And nutritious too!!!

PamQuilts 02-23-2010 07:07 AM

Wow! I do nutritional talks also.....wanna make me one? Most people who talk on nutrition eat tons of fruits & veggies. This is a perfect gift!

Quilter7x 02-23-2010 07:09 AM

What a wonderful gesture. Love all the "extras" on the quilt (ants, ladybugs, spiders).

dunster 02-23-2010 07:50 AM

I've seen this quilt made before, but I think you have used the most luscious colors ever, which really brings it to life. It must have taken a lot of work to make, and to give it as a thank you for a speaker is over the top generous. I'm sure your guild will have no shortage of speakers after this (but you may be way busy!)

Cookie64 02-23-2010 09:03 AM

I know she will love it. One of the ladies at our froster childerns home gave me a bunch of material with all kinds of garden things in it and I'm going to design a quilt for them to hang in their dining room. Hope to get that done this summer.

Of course, not a one of our members needs advice or counsel on such things as weight control, but our program committee thought it might provide an interesting change   .
