I just love the pastel colors. I just don't understand why anyone would want to get rid of an old quilt. Where ever I was going to move, that quilt would go right along with me. You are fortunate to get it.

I love this quilt! Lucky you to own it.

Oh, I have one of those - done with 30's fabrics ( yes, 1930's). Had it on my bed growing up and it has always been a favorite of mine.Love the colors. Now my goal is to make one with fabrics I have purchased in travels around the world.

I love the colors too. Beautiful find

Wonderful find! Maybe you can replace the binding if it's worn, just a thought.

Interesting use of colors. Looks great.

This obviously was made before the days of strip-quilting. Can you imagine cutting all those tiny pieces individually ..... and without a rotary cutter? And then sewing them individually into place?
I made a baby quilt like this years ago. It was beautiful but so time-consuming. And I have some of the pieces for a full size quilt cut (individually), but I can't get up the courage to tackle it. What a treasure you have! |
Awesome.

It's beautiful! Don't mind the worn spots, just add a few of your own :-D
