I've seen some beautiful D9P quilts here lately, but this one is totally scrappy. The only order to it is that I really tried to keep the middle block a light print or a light plain fabric. It is the first one of these that I have made so there are many mistakes -- but who could see them in this wild quilt top. There are still 2 more rows of blocks to add. I don't know what I will use for the border -- it will have to be something to tone down all that wildness (and I haven't decreased my stash very much at all)

I too love scrappy quilts and this one is coming along beautifully. Can't wait to see what you use to tame all of the wildness you mentioned. ;-)

how about a piano key boarder or flying geese. I really like your quilt top. Great Job.

It looks marvelous! Amazing how those scraps do not decrease with the projects...they seem to grow instead! LOL. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful scrappy quilt. YOu could always make another for a gift since you barely dipped into your scraps. Thankas for showing us.

Thanks for posting a picture of your scrappy DNP. I have been wanting to try that one and wondered how it would look with it made with nothing but scraps. I really like how yours looks.

I've been wondering how it would look in all scraps. Thanks for showing yours - I see it looks great! I'm thinking not all quilts must have borders. You might want to consider just binding. Or if you feel a border is needed, I would opt for something that reads solid.

I had not even thought of leaving it borderless - but good idea. Maybe I'll add another row of blocks on both the side and the end, making it 8 blocks X 10 blocks (heaven knows, I've enough stash left to make those extra blocks).
