WOW! The pictures are wonderful and to honor the vets was even more! YOU did an awesome job in making 22 quilts. You should be honored in return. Thank you for sharing the pictures.

You deserved to be honored too. Those quilts are beautiful and the display in the church was gorgeous. I know the vets appreciated them. God bless you and all the vets of the USA.

Start Out with just a few pick out some Buddies of your Son make them all a QUilt of Valor. This is a gift that I know shows on their Face of the Joy & Honor to receive it. The quilts don't have to be elaborate pic a pattern ( or make up your own )that is simple. They will Cherish it , Just to be recognized in this way , the quilt of Love as many Soldiers call them. I have seen this Joy & Honor . They Stand so tall when their name is called to accept.

Thank you for sharing your project with all of us. What a great idea. Gotta start now to put a plan in action for quilters in my area to start for next year's project.

M.Elizabeth, go to http://www.qovf.org/req-quilt.html. This is a link to request a QOV online or you can contact this gal: North Carolina West Liz View [email protected]. She is the coordinator for your area.

I am a member of several of the QOV groups here in Southern Nevada.

I bet there wasn't a dry eye in the church. What a wonderful idea! And you must have quilted till you could quilt no more! God bless you and all the others who participated!

What a marvelous thing you have been a main part of! Thank you from me for helping to thank and honor our veterans.

Did anyone know that the Friday before Mother's Day is military spouse appreciation day and April is the month of the military child? I only learned this today, so next year I hope to take a role in spreading this information. It's wear purple day on Friday, May 6th.
