For the red quilt with the lattice-like cornerstones, the strips are cut at 3 1/2" x 6 1/2", and the cornerstones are cut at 3 1/2" square. The finished quilt is approximately 50" x 60", the size requested by our local veterans hospital.
Someone asked what pattern I used. I started out with an idea from the internet, but once begun, didn't like it as well as I thought I would, so made a few size changes to the strips to get the finished size I wanted. Adding the cornerstones staggered to keep a diagonal line going with the lattice-like fabric was my idea...it just looked right to me.

Do you remember the size of the blocks for the red one? I thought you did a great job on the quilting.

I KNOW they will be loved and greatly appreciated. I have tried to post my photos of those quilts, but my posts are removed.
