I just finished my Victory Qult top. I am doing this as a volunteer to comfort someone touched by the war. I was very pleased with the book "Victory Quilts" of 1940's Sampler Quilts by Elenor Burns. It was so fun and the directions were so easy for a new quilter such as myself.

Thanks for sharing. |
Have you made your whole quilt with the Marine Corp theme? It just couldn't be nicer, I love it. My husband served in the Marien Corp. so this is extra special to all of us!!

Thanks, all. This is just the quilt top. The organization I'm working with has different people doing different phases of the quilts. I will send this off and someone will quilt it and then send it back to me to bind. This is my second one... here's my first.

All very fine ... your quilts, time and labor, kindness and generosity!

Dramatic and beautiful quilt. There is a soldier who will treasure this quilt with its warmth. Thank you for doing this for the men and women who serve our country.

Very nice job. Your points look like a long time quilter. You must pay very close attention to detail.

Lovely and what a lovely thing to do for someone!

You did yourself proud !!! They are gorgeous and patriotic. As a wife of a retired CG serviceman, I love anything patriotic. Great job.
