The name of this pattern is Granny/s Stars it was in the Fons and Porter Magazine July & Aug.2009.
As for the quilting, my DH does all of my quilting we do not have a long arm machine so he is doing mostly FM and stitch in the ditch now that my little neighbor has shown me how to post I will be doing that when he is done, He said it is going to take a while and I do have to sew the Yo Yo's on the border.
I did not have all the colors that came in the kit ( I did not have a kit) so I just used the ones I had.I have never done anything with this many pieces before I had to really take my time and be patient.
