These are a few pics from my studio. I took them after my husband painted the concrete floor and I'd put most of my stuff away. There are still little messes in some areas, but those messes are not in my way, so they may not get cleaned up really soon. :-)

You ask for suggestions??? You have WAY too much stash, so I think you should down-size-TO ME!!! LOL Great organization-had to show my DH since I keep taking (and hinting) at having shelving put in my closet instead of handing sweater/shoe organizers that really sag over time. I also loose space above them.

love your studio. What did you make it out of? I am trying to get DH to redo the garage as we don't use it to park cars in anyway.

Thanks everyone! First, you all should know that I've been sewing since high school (over 30 years ago) and quilting seriously for about 15-20 years. Next, part of the stash came from my mom who sewed for over 50 years. So there's a lot of history in that stash.

Amyjo mentioned garage....well, that's what I got. It was a carport a few years ago. Hubby closed it in about 5 years ago and it's been a work in progress since. We just painted the concrete floors! That has really cut down on the dust, I should add.

Finally, I've recycled all sorts of stuff: a cabinet from his grandmother's utility that everyone wanted to trash, a microwave cart from the kids that the doors wouldn't close, cabinets from a job my home improvement son did and had to be taken apart to be removed. Thank God my husband is so talented and able to fix castoffs.....just paint everything in one neutral color and it appears to match.
