What a neat Christmas quilt. I like how some of the trees are white on a dark background. They add a lot of interest to the quilt.

I have a question - are the trees appliqued onto the background block? Did you have a pattern for the trees or just made one of you own?

Those whacky trees have character! It is a beautiful quilt and looks so nice on that bed. Enjoy for the season and then again year after year.

No appliqué here, just piecing. There is a pattern for it somewhere I'm sure but we made it in a class I took a few years ago.
