Waiting for my machine...
 

One of my sewing machines is at the doctor, and I need it to finish a quilt. I'm soooooo close to finishing, and I've been working on the quilt for months!

I decided to make a charity baby quilt in the meantime. This only took three days, and my machine is not back yet. I think I'll have to make another charity baby quilt. Drumming fingers...

I got my favorite machine back last week, and he took the spare to work on. I only use that one about twice a year. Of course, it's the only one that has the foot that I need to use... and I told him to take his time!

Thanks! That a faux piped binding by machine. I use it most of the time now because I can't do hand sewing without pain any more. Here is a video of the technique:

I feel your pain. Since I have only one working sewing machine, if it had to go in for repairs, I think I'd have to make a quick trip and buy a new one right away!

Love your quilt and I like how you quilted it; can you describe how you did that? I like the lines where it was smaller.

I quilted diagonal lines from block corner to block corner. They weren't evenly spaced which I liked.

Nice quilt. I have a lot of I Spy blocks I would like to use in this pattern, but I think keeping everything right side up might be a challenge on sewing the strips to the sides. Does anyone have an idea on how to do it?
