Wall hanging with a hanging twist!
1 Attachment(s)
I was asked to make this wall hanging for a friend of mine - her husband loves lighthouses and she wanted to give him one for his birthday.
The uniqueness is not the wall hanging - that I simply sketched from a photo and cut random pieces for the jetty - but the way I hung it. I used plastic fishing bobbers that I sewed to the top of the hanging and then attached to a wood dowel, using jewelry clasps and small picture hook screws. I am going to start a thread on the main page and ask what was the most unique way anyone has hung a wall hanging. That should start some interesting dialog! |
Your idea is very inventive and clever. Great job. Looking forward to your new thread on the topic of unique ways to hang a quilt. Great job on your lighthouse scene also!
