I am lucky that my Walmart still has a fabric department....they are eliminating them once they remodel the stores. Walmart is starting to offer some fabric online....2 yards at a time....and not a large selection.
You did great! I haven't been that lucky to find $1.00 per yard in quite some time at my Walmart! Love the selections! |
Nice buy. My walmart have the $5 bolt, but the fabric is not quilting fabric. They say all Wal-Marts have the same fabrics, not.

Last Thursday I found several bolts of fabric at Walmart for $1 a yard. I came home with 35 yards of fabric for $35....not bad!

Can't wait till our local WalMarts start to carry fabric by the bold. I just love the hot pink/lime green one on the top left hand side.

You did great. You do what my Sis and I do. We share everything. She has fabric at her house and I have it at mine. When we order on line we order together. We share everything from the fabric right down to the needles and thread. Works for us.

We sew at my house every chance we get. |
I see some really fun quilts in that pile you have.

I wish our Walmarts in Lafayette, Louisiana would put fabric back into their stores. I think I was one of the largest purchasers of their fabric before they stopped it. Now, I find Walmart someone boring. Only go for emergencies now. I can grocery shop elsewhere.
