I guess so...feet won't clack on carpet. Got two machines, so we can sew at the same time, Blue! Will you do half the fabric cutting? that one tires me out! :D

you know, klue, it actually, did. Some of the fabrics were given to me, by other ppl, my mother being one.
The sweater in the closet, was made by my aunt, and I am going to re-size it.
There's a sewing machine under one of the tables, that belonged to my little grandma! Lots of great stuff, and wonderful memories packed into this 'cave', lol!

amma 06-04-2009 08:31 PM

I like the pictures on the shelves, gotta have someone keeping an eye on you besides the sock monkey and kittys....which reminds me....sock monkey wants his marigolds and par a what evers...she is not pleased at you showing her nekidness to the whole world

Lisa T 06-04-2009 08:36 PM

I like the pictures.
I like the poem.
I would like to give
Your stash a new home.

Ok, that was a little bit lame- but I really would like to play with your FAB fabric! LOL! You have a lot of cool stuff! (And a beautiful granddaughter.)

amma 06-04-2009 08:38 PM

Love your poem Lisa :D 8) :D We all need to give QnC a run for her money :D :D :D

Lisa T 06-04-2009 08:42 PM

Ahaha! I can give her a run for her money with the "Crazy" anyway! LOL!

omak 06-04-2009 08:46 PM

Enjoyed the pictures very much!
I think I saw some things hubby has stashed in there ... he is CROWDING you! Better get a handle on that! LOL
A little one doing karoke ... it just doesnt get better input than that, eh?

I don't mind doing the cutting (we must all do our part for production, right?) <G>

as for monkey...I was kind enough not to expose her identity, but she is the one that runs around like Lady Godiva...w/o the hair! :D
Yes, I have a lot of eyes on me, don't I?
It would be a lot of fun to have some company!
WIP? look away! It ain't under there, no more...in fact, if you knew your way around this room, you would know that I reorganized my whole cutting station, and took more pics. It is so much better now, and can get to window...JoAnne!*...can let light in, too!
ah, but I love this room!

amma 06-04-2009 08:59 PM

Seen your girl
Seen your pic
But your poor monkey
Needs a fix

She's not happy
She's really sad
Doesn't like being
seen like that

She likes flowers
She likes pearls
A few little ruffles
And maybe some curls

A cute pink dress
A bow or two
Frilly french lace
That matches her shoes

thank you, Lisa! I like your poem, too. You wrote it, just for me, aw!
Stash would get homesick though. They're family. They must be the kind of family that gets married, and stays home, lol...cause they're not moving too fast, but I'm trying. Think I have enough, yet?
I have to agree about the grandbabies, they are beautiful.

That little one can sing, too! She's a real doll, that's Crystal, aka, nana's sweetheart.
Hubby will come in by machines now. I have the 2nd table turned a better way. He won't go past the tables though...it makes him break out. Too much woman stuff! 8)
Oh good, another volunteer to cut! I'd say, I could get quite a production going out of this stash, if I got 'my' production going.
Little one, on my lap, is Mary, and she is mama's girl. All four of my grands, have those thick, long, dark lashes...yummy! :D

I don't know about that homesick thing:
YOUR Stash + MY Stash= True love 4Ever.
I think they would get along swimmingly! They wouldn't even miss you. Don't think of it as losing a Stash- think of it as gaining a ... a... well, ok, once I got my hands on it, you would be losing a stash. But think of the CHILDREN!! If YOUR Stash and MY Stash had BABY Stashes!!! They would be so CUTE!!

Did you see all those yummies on my cutting station? woo hoo! they're all new. :D

amma 06-04-2009 09:37 PM

Ska is loud rock music...the lyrics MUST be screamed, in a VERY loud, hoarse voice....and must NEVER be sang in such a manner that you can understand the lyrics..... 8) 8) 8)

My son was in a Ska band for 3 years....what's that you say??? speak up.... I am still deaf from his concerts

Roll, shock and roll....that was me back in the day, alright 8) 8) 8)

Ohhhhhh Lisa!!!! Ohhhhh Lisa!!!! Did you see what this crazy woman is writing about your grand-stashes????? Rotten, hyper little arf arf's!!!!!! Are you going to let her get away with that????? Where's my stick when I need it?????

Lisa T 06-04-2009 09:48 PM

Well, ska is loud, but I think you can understand it. It's sort of Jamaican/raggae type music fused with rap. Kind of a punk-raggae-rap music, like Sublime. At least that's what I always thought it was.

A lot of it has swears and stuff so I don't listen to it anymore now that I am a RESPONSIBLE mother. At least not around my kids, anyway. (The grand-stashes would probably be ok with it- all hopped up on sugar and stuff- they'd be dancing with the monkey.)

And, YES, I did like the stuff on the cutting table! Also I spied some brights that were kind of standing up in a paper-holder type bin. I think we have VERY similar fabric tastes and they would marry well. :0)

WHAT!!! WHAT ARE YOU SAYING ABOUT MY BABIES!!!??? They are not gonna go to YOUR house to play anymore.

Actually, my quilts like hyper fabric. (They really do.)
