[ATTACH=CONFIG]431671[/ATTACH]College football is much like Christmas to southerners. It’s something we look forward to all yearl ong. We buy special outfits to celebrate the Friday before the game and gameday itself! We decorate rooms in our houses, our yards, and our cars. We eat and eat and eat some more on game day.And for some in our state, there are those that choose spouses or friendships depending of your love for Auburn or Alabama. In our family of six kids, we have one way ward son, whose an Alabama fan, we blame his first crush on the conversion! It’s a magical time!

Below, I have just finished up with a quilt for my DH. This was the first time I was able to incorporate machine embroidery into a quilt. There are ten sets of words/sayings that are true to Auburn. I added a label to the back that reflects someof the humor we have with our football season. Here is an excerpt:
This quilt belong to ------
1. Use of this quilt can only be delegated by the owner.
2. Delegated user MUST be an Auburn Fan.
3. Under NO circumstances, will this quilt be used & enjoyed by a fan from the“other” state of Alabama team.
The owner’s wife for her husband made this quilt with a deep abiding love, loyalty, commitment and admiration. These feelings mirror those same feelings that are felt by all Auburn Fans.

It's the same here except we are fans of the other team - Roll Tide. Also last night was grandsons first school game, love going to the games, so much fun even if we did get beat. Your quilt is great, pattern really showcases the team fabrics.

The label 'rules' are a great touch!
