Warm Wishes for My DGD
3 Attachment(s)
My 8 yo DGD asked me to make her a quilt. I asked her what colors she wanted and she told me blue and orange...hmmmmmm. I had all these fabrics in my stash, so decided they would make a good blue and orange quilt. Someone saw if before it was quilted and said, "What a nice quilt for a boy." I was rethinking giving it to my DGD, but when she saw a picture of it on my Ipad (and didn't know it was made for her) she said, "Gramma T, can I have that quilt?" So long story short, I finished the quilt and will send it out for Christmas. I love it when a plan comes together!
Made a mistake that I didn't catch until the quilt was almost 100% quilted. Wasn't going to take out all that quilting, especially since I'm probably the only one that will know that it's there. See if you can find it. |
