I can remember as a child walking home from elementary school seeing a pond full of hyacinths and have always thought they were beautiful. Love this one's color.Maybe you should create an applique pattern of one.Would love to see it.

My opinion also, these are lovely but VERY invasive. Even watch them in ponds, birds can and have taken a cutting or seeds on their feet and washed them off in lakes and streams.

Suzag- they are floaters, i dont believe they smell, but they are beautiful, when the sun shines on em, it looks like iris, very pretty, they are in my pond.
