This was made from a kit I purchased at a quilt show. Its a watercolor wallhanging with hummingbirds. Made this for my mom who loves watching the hummingbirds at her house. She has three large feeders. I will see her in a couple of weeks and give it to her.

Thanks everyone, it was fun to make, but boy were those appliqué pieces tiny, I machine appliqued and I give you ladies that do all that work by hand a lot of credit, so many little pieces!

If you do another, please be aware that I, too love hummingbirds... lol. It is gorgeous and a wonderful surprise for a lucky mom. You must be as excited to give it to her as she will be to receive it.

Beautiful. The hummingbird is so pretty. Watercolor quilts are so nice and the fabrics in this one shine.

Hahaha the hairy monster in my avatar is my "little" girl Maggie, she is a 135lb Newfoundland and one of my best friends!!!
