Very cute. Love the bears.
I have used sheeting for the back. It 'allows' the owner to turn the quilt good-side down so to protect it. "I can't put that on the bed. It's too nice to use." Since I made it to be used & not stored, the sheeting seems to do to the trick. |

I use sheets a lot for backing and even for some applique. I don't do contests and shows so no one really knows

The whole quilt is great! Love the batiks for the fish applique's and the bears. Looks like they have a furry fabric. What really caught my eye was the machine quilting. I am just beginning to try my hand at FMQing. I have done some stippling. Yesterday I tried doing some swirls and curly loops. How do you decide what to put where? Are there any quidelines?
