Weathered Four-Patch
1 Attachment(s)
Pattern is from Primitive Quilts Magazine. Designed by Julie Hendricksen. I made it using homespun and am not sure I will ever do homespun again because of all of the raveling but I really like the end result. It still needs to be quilted.

Beautiful!

I love it. I keep your quilt in mind. I am making 4 patches from my 1.5 in scraps and I love your quilt very much
I think it looks great. Because of the home spun it has a vintage look. I agree with you about raveling, can’t stand it and sometimes have serged or overlocked a whole quilt
Yes, it has the vintage look of pioneer quilts - it is very stylish.
Beautiful top!!
Looks so pretty and you did a great job on it. Thank you for sharing
It looks great. Could be a variation of trip around the world.
It is a very warm looking quilt and the design is perfect to be used with homespun. Great job!
Well done!
Homespun is ravelly, but it made a beautiful quilt!
Awesome quilt. You did a great job!
Beautiful Quilt
very pretty colors
You did a wonderful job on it. I recently gave away a bunch of homespun, because I just couldn't take the raveling.
Nice. I tackled homespun once and that was enough but I like the look.
Your weathered four patch looks great with the vintage Singer.
Beautiful top, quilting should help stop raveling.
Love your quilt!
I like homespun, too. Aside from the raveling, I found a lot of bleeding in some of the colors.
Impressive
The quilt is very impressive. Your work is very precise to control the material bit looks warm and inviting.
Thanks everybody. It will be a while before I play with homespun again if ever! I love the quilt now that it is together but I am still sweeping up the ravels!
Very nicely done. Thanks for the "heads up" on ravelling. I've got a whole bin of homespuns that I'm supposed to do something with and I've never worked with that type fabric before. Your precision piecing is awesome.
