I have wanted to make a wedding dress quilt for a while and this is what I am kicking around with. I found this dress on shopgoodwill.com for $7.00 plus shipping total under 20.00. After I finish this one for practice I will tear into my daughters wedding dress.

I've nver seen one with the dress shape still intact.. I made quilts from goodwill before. Also made a quilt from my dtrs wedding dress. I cut it into blocks with the lace trimmings on the a corner as accent details...... yours is so originial...!!

That is beautiful. That is really smart to practice on one before you do your daughter's. WE learn so much when we try something for the first time

That is such a great idea. I am getting ready to make a Wedding Ring Quilt and I would love to put pieces of wedding dress in it. Thanks for the picture
