Wedding Gift

1 Attachment(s)
This is a quilt that I made with its purpose to be used as a tablecloth. I made napkins to go with it and appliquéd a smaller version of the flower that is appliqued on the quilt on each corner. It was given as a wedding gift to my nephew and his bride last Saturday. I made an error in cutting the corners and reached out to QB members for fabric to replace my "goof". I want to thank Northquilter again for "saving the day". I haven't heard yet if they liked my gift but hope that they did. When I preview this I notice the picture is sideways. I don't know how to correct that.

Of course they like it. They love it I bet. It is real pretty. I never heard of using a quilt as a table cloth. Did you tell them what it is for? I think I would if I made this so they will now what to do with it. I think this is just so beautiful. I like the colour choices and the napkins that coordinate are great. Nice job!

Thank you. I have used quilts as tablecloths for years. They hang really nice. My first one was a quilt I made for Thanksgiving and at the time was a bit nervous about using it. I teased everyone and told them if they spilled and it stained I was going to embroider their name by the stain. No stains yet. I also make coasters to match to catch drips from glasses.

ibc, the way to turn a picture is as follows: Right click on the picture - see the little round dots at the corners - see the squares top, bottom and sides. Look at the square at the top of the picture - see the little green dot above the square. Left click and hold on the green dot. While holding the mouse button down, move the mouse until the picture is upright.
