Here ya go bev...http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-27345-1.htm I forget how many i have made,,,but i do them in the evening so i call them my PTPs Prime time Projects,,,I usually do one a night,,,and they are whipped sitched together on the backs with matching thread. i could do them on the machine much faster, but I enjoy hand work at tv time.

Riversong What size template did you use ? By the way they look GREAT
Riversong, your mats are lovely. You are really having fun making these, aren't you?
Could you do me a favor and show how you finish the backs, please. I just finished making a mat with the batting as the pattern and now I'm stuck on how to finish the back. I did not 'frame' my octogons, and am unsure how to finish. Thanks. |
I don't know how you would do the un framed ones...Mine are put right sides together and whipstithed by hand, but you can zig zag them by machine too....
So they are reversible? I get it. Kinda slow here, never have done these octogons, but sure are fun to take along to places and with little effort.
Thanks. |
How adorable! I love the 3rd one, need me address?
you have made such beautiful mats.
