Amazing work .... beautiful!

I did the same .... hunkered down in the sewing room as luckily it is the coolest place in my home.
Definitely, a good excuse to find sewing time .... now to figure how to make it work in the winter!

Again, thank you for the additional information about the “shake”! I was thinking it would definitely need to be washed to get it off. A shake and a swish with a soft cloth (micro?) would probably get it all. I am getting anxious to try this now. I have a couple weeks of “being away from home” and then I will see what I have “laying around” that needs to be quilted. :-)

I had to remove chalk marks on a quilt once and the first soaking did not remove the marks, so I tried again and soaked it for hours and it worked.

It depends on the type of chalk. I have a chalk pencil, and it doesn't come off until I put it in the washing machine. This blue "pounce" chalk will come off in a heartbeat if you don't hairspray it down!
