I just finished making a new wallhanging called Welcome Friends by Teacher's Pet. I am proud to say that the entire wallhanging was made from scraps from my stash. I found a charm pack and a couple of stapled bundles of 1 1/2" fabric samples that I won at a LQS in my stash and that served as the basis for the wallhanging. When I unstapled the two bundles I was delighted to find that every single square was a different color and/or pattern so I used these around the edges of the design. I found backing material, binding left over from another quilt, thread from the last quilt and even batting left from another quilt to complete the wallhanging!

I'm not really big on wallhangings, but I really like this one. I love the colors. Maybe I will try this one after Christmas.

Love it. Great use of 1 1/2" pieces and your charms and even though you had to "scrunch" it all together, it looks perfect the way it is.
