I would use the same fabric as the sashing. Just make it 4 inches, rather than 2/3. Would make all the leaves come together.

Beautiful quilt -- I agree the brown would be a good way to frame the quilt. Though this is late, I would make the border wider (about 1/2 the width of the blocks).

Great quilt! I agree with border of brown same brown for outside binding with inside binding of the white. Show us when complete.
