I'm not sure what color border to add to this. I was thinking maybe a small tan print. What would you recommend?

Every time I've tried a "neutral" border I was unhappy with it - ended up un-sewing. Finally decided to go out of my box and use a dark (or bright) print border. MUCH BETTER, EVERY TIME.

It looks like its layed out on a tan color carpet and looks OK but I would go with a color.The pinks jump out at me.

You have that great fuschia pink and teal colore block in the middle of the quilt that is just screaming "look at me"! Bringing in the bright fuschia pink might really make it pop and look great!

I would use a narrow of the dark brown and a wider of one of the brighter colors - a multicolor red from the center. Pretty!!!!

I would put a narrow red or darker border first, then you could do piano keys of all the fabrics, or sew some of them end-to-end for a multicolored border. I have done both of these a lot. Thank you for sharing- I love all the pretty prints in your quilt.

It depends on which colors you like best. You might do a small border in one of the turquoise prints and then a wider border with that pretty brown print in the upper left corner. Or, you could do a small border in one of the pinks and a wider border in that same brown print. Can you tell I like that brown print? lol

Bright and bold would really set off all of your subtle pretty prints----maybe a brown (not as dark as chocolate), or even pink,---pick up one of the colors from the prints (not neutral)

(just my opinion......there are lots of things you could do)

Tan won't stop the eye and frame the wonderful colors, IMO. Either an inch of the dark fuchia or chocolate would be my choice. I'm liking the wider border that would come next to be either pieced or printed. Not two plains side by side.
