This is one I have made for my bed but needs to be longer, didn't plan too good, soo I put a border then thought another border with friendship stars would make it just right. but what colors to use, I have put a gold color as a first border but now not sure what to do! What are your ideas??

Thanks

Make up a couple of possibilities and try them out ...see if you like them.:)

If you have enough of the gold for the background of the stars they would look like they're floating and part of that larger gold border. You could alternate one red star with one green star.

Good idea!

They could be floating at the top and the bottom. You could also have a similiar border along the top of the backing as a topper section.

I wasn't sure if that would be too much gold. I like the idea of alternate color stars.

Milp04 did you mean on the back of the quilt as well as the front?

Thanks for the ideas.

What about alternating burgundy & green with a smaller gold star centered in each one? More work but it might look nice.

Thank you, it is a queen size or will be when I get the next border on!
I think I will use gold as background and the stars burgundy & not sure if I will use green too.
