The week before we left I spent 3 days cutting the entire quilt and we spent 2 and a half days at retreat piecing the top. Then on Thursday I quilted it at our LQS on her longarm. They were happening regularly in 2014. LOL This is an old post. But I'm glad to report all the retreat centers I usually go to are open and fully booked for the rest of the year. |

Wonderful job! How long did it take to cut all the pieces? And you two finished it over a weekend and quilted it in one day! Amazing. Be proud of yourselves.

I can't believe you finished this quilt in just 3 weeks. I wish I had a daughter that loved to quilt but none of my 3 are interested. My oldest DD sews and my youngest DD says she may take up quilting when she retires. I can only hope one of them will inherit all of my stash when I am gone or my husband will be overwhelmed.
